Casino Robbed Of P2.8M
Pagcor’s Casino Filipino at Parkmall in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City lost P2.8 million in cash to one of its employees. Pascual B. Urian Jr., 29, of Purok 3, Barangay Cubacub, Mandaue City, had just come on his shift that started at 12 midnight today as the internal security staff member assigned to the casino’s cash vault area. Security cameras showed him taking wads of bills from the vault that he apparently did not close after it was opened for the counting of the money with the change of guards. A while later, security guards hired through an agency saw him carrying a white plastic bag. Urian looked like he was about to exit the building but when he saw the agency guards preparing to frisk him as they are supposed to do with every employee, Urian reportedly exited through another door. All the while, he looked calm, the guards said, and that although they wondered why he took another exit, they did not suspect that anything was wrong. When he was outside, Urian, probably feeling generous or maybe to divert the pursuing guards’ attention, threw money into the air just before he boarded a taxi. People reportedly scrambled to pick up the money. The police was able to recover P80,000 from his loot from the people who picked up what Urian threw. He hasn’t been heard from since. Urian has been a Pagcor employee since 2008. The police interviewed his father who said he hasn’t been coming home to Cubacub for a month already.

Pascual, what have you done? stealing money that is not yours to keep. you better return it. I knew you are a good person. don’t waste your life living in hell and hiding in fear. Money is JUST material to adorn oneself. But easy to find as long as you struggle hard with perseverance. Remember one thing, DIGNITY is the most important thing you should value as a person.
