“We Didn’t Kill Him”

Jethro Lapiña (in Carcar City jail shirt), 23, the alleged accomplice in the shooting of Carl Vinson Apura, today pleaded not guilty to the charge against him. Lapiña maintains that he did not help Jay Boy Lauron (partly hidden behind the jail guard escorting Lapiña), the accused, escape from the concert venue in Barangay Valladolid, Carcar City where Carl Vinson was killed last May. Also in the arraignment before RTC Judge Douglas Marigomen of Branch 5 this morning was Carcar City Mayor Nicepuro Apura (leftmost, in sunglasses), Carl Vinson’s father.
