Grounded By Gener

Ocean Jet fastcrafts, like a a number of other vessels, are now grounded at Cebu City’s ports. Waves brought by Tropical Storm Gener forced a few vessels to return to port over the weekend but today, precautions have been taken and trips have been cancelled altogether. As of 10 am today, Gener was 360 kilometers east northeast of Aparri, Cagayan whose winds had gustiness of up to 135 kph. Continuous rains since last night have forced the suspension of classes in Metro Manila. In the Visayas, Pag-asa says moderate to strong winds are to be expected.
