Ironman athletes with their strange-looking oversized luggage continued to arrive at the Mactan Airport today in preparation for the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines triathlon this Sunday. Some 1,700 athletes from around the world are gathering here this weekend as Cebu hosts Ironman for the first time, wrestling the venue from Camarines Sur which played host in the past three years. The race includes a 1.9-kilometer swim in the Mactan Channel, a 90-kilometer bike course and a 21-kilometer run.
