August Benedicto was first in the Philippine elite division of today’s Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines Triathlon. He clocked in at 4:27:39, only some 20 minutes behind Pete Jacobs, the first among the professional males. Benedicto was tenth in the overall standing.
