The family of Capt. Jessup Bahinting, seen here in their home in Barangay Cansojong, Talisay, is surrounded by DSWD social workers who are there to help them deal with the loss of the head of the family. The body of Captain Bahinting, the CEO of Aviatour Air who was known to be generous with his company’s resources for charitable causes, was found this morning together with those of DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo and co-pilot Kshitiz Chand 180 feet below sea level in the waters off Masbate. The Bahinting family is now waiting for the captain’s remains to be brought back to Cebu. They plan to bury him in Ginatilan.
