Aviatour CEO

Pilots and students of Aviatour Air gather around the remains of their CEO and founder, Capt. Jessup Bahinting. His body was brought in from Masbate today by a Beechcraft plane of Cheynair Aviation Training Inc. piloted by Capt. Marvin Abadiano and co-pilot Jeram Sarmiento who owns Cheynair. In the photo, his remains momentarily lie in front of the Aviatour hangar in Mactan while waiting for St. Peter Memorial Chapel personnel position their vehicle. His remains were then brought to St. Peter in Imus Road, Cebu City where it will lie in state for about three days. It had to be a colleague’s plane that fetched Captain Bahinting’s remains from Masbate as Aviatour, the company and flying school he owns and runs, has voluntarily suspended its operations for the government to inspect its fleet.
